What is the Filler?
Filler Thailand is injected with a fine needle into strategic points on your face in combination with topical or local anesthesia. The injection sites are cleansed with an antibacterial agent, followed by icing or a topical numbing agent to make more sensitive patients comfortable. The filler itself may contain an anesthetic agent. Multiple injections are often needed to fill wrinkles or recessed scars. Enhancing your lips with fillers also requires multiple injections to distribute the filler for enhanced lip fullness and to raise or define a cupid’s bow or vermillion border.
How is the procedure performed in Bangkok?
Filler Thailand usually takes only a few moments per site. You may receive a local anesthetic or combination of local anesthesia and conscious sedation (also known as “twilight sleep”). Also no overnight stay requires.
What do I need to do to prepare for surgery?
• Do not take any aspirin, ibuprofen or similar products (Advil, Motrin, Aleve) for 2 weeks prior to filler
• Avoid fish oil, Vitamin E, and gingko biloba for 2 weeks prior to filler
• Quit smoking two weeks before filler injection.
What is aftercare for the Filler?
You may be offered an ice pack to reduce swelling and alleviate discomfort after Filler in Thailand. Although the area may feel a bit tender for a day or two, it is usually not painful enough to require any medication.
How is the Filler recovery?
There is no downtime with dermal fillers. You can resume most activities right away.
What result can I expect?
In general, the results from most injectables are temporary; commonly lasting from a few months to about a year. This depends on the type of facial or filler or injectable used. For optimal results, additional treatment sessions are encouraged.
What are the risks involved with Filler?
Most side effects associated with dermal fillers happen shortly after injection and most go away in less than two weeks. In some cases the side effects may appear weeks, months or years after injection. Any injectable dermal filler could cause long-term side effects, permanent side effects, or both.
